Idealplast Achieves ISCC PLUS Certification

Concrete Step Towards Sustainable Packaging

Idealplast continues its journey towards increasingly sustainable, transparent, and innovation-driven raw material management by announcing the achievement of the ISCC PLUS certification, one of the most internationally recognized standards for sustainability and supply chain traceability.

Thanks to this certification, the company is now able to offer flexible films produced with polymers that are not exclusively derived from virgin fossil sources, but also from alternative and sustainable raw materials, such as:

• circular raw materials obtained from recycling processes
• bio-circular materials derived from waste and residues
• bio-based sources from renewable resources

The developed solutions are managed through a fully traceable Mass Balance system applied to PE and PPstructures, ensuring production continuity and transparency throughout the entire value chain.

Characteristics of the adopted model

• Certified traceability of sustainable raw materials
• Reduced dependence on virgin fossil resources
• Maintenance of the technical performance of materials
• High processability on existing industrial production lines

In a regulatory and market environment increasingly focused on PPWR compliance and concrete, measurable sustainability goals, the ISCC PLUS certification represents a strategic evolution for Idealplast towards more responsible production models and a circular economy approach.

The Value of This Achievement

Reaching this milestone is the result of a voluntary, rigorous, and highly qualifying journey, made possible thanks to the contribution and collaboration of the entire company team.

This recognition is not simply a certification, but a distinctive element that further strengthens Idealplast’s commitment to developing innovative, sustainable, and high value-added technological solutions for the flexible packaging industry.
